On Wednesday 5th October, 2022, SIC Life presented a brand-new car to the ‘Best Teacher in Leadership and Administration’ Ivy Asantewaa Owusu at the 2022 Ghana Teacher Prize. This is part of a sponsorship package towards the annual event. Other packages included branded souvenirs and a Life Insurance cover totaling One million Ghana Cedis (GH¢1,000,000.00) to the top three winners.
His Excellency the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the company of our Managing Director; Mr. Kwaku Appiah Menka, Minister of Education; Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Head Corporate Services SIC Life, Mr. Albert Bahun-Wilson among others presented the car to the winner.
SIC Life has since 2010 been a major sponsor of the Ghana Teacher Prize formerly dubbed the Best Teacher Award organised by the National Teaching Council under the auspices of the Ministry of Education.
