Mr. Stephen Kyeremateng joined the then State Insurance Company of Ghana Limited as an Assistant Marketing Manager in 2002. He was the Area Manager for Kumasi having oversight responsibility of Tamale and Bolga Offices. Prior to joining SIC Life he worked with Roner Company Limited as Marketing & General Manager.
He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII, UK) with an enviable experience in the insurance industry. He holds Master of Business Administration (Marketing and Corporate Strategy) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from University of Ghana. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast. He has participated in a number of foreign and local courses.
Mr. Kwame Owusu-Ansah Agyeman is an Information Systems Consultant with over twenty (20) years’ experience in enterprise software design and development. Until his appointment in 2020, he worked with Premier Vet Alliance Group in Bristol (UK) and Atlanta (USA) as Senior Business Analyst.
Kwame holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (USA) and a Bachelor of Science in Computing Studies from London South Bank University (LSBU) in the UK. He has also acquired several certifications from Oracle and Microsoft.
He has vast experience in the Information technology industry, having worked on many projects of varying complexities and scope in several countries including United Kingdom, United States of America, Ghana and South Africa. He has during his Information Technology career worked as a Software Developer, User Interface (UI) Designer, Tester, Database Administrator, Systems Administrator, Application Support Analyst, Technical Consultant, Business Analyst and Project Manager.
Mrs. Agyeman-Barning has 20 years of experience in HR Strategy and Planning, with comprehensive accomplishment in driving organizational development, talent acquisition and management. Prior to her appointment at SIC LIFE, she was the Head of Human Resource & Administration at the National Banking College.
Louise holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Languages from the University of Ghana, Legon, and obtained an MBA in Human Resource Management from Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2006. She is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources-International (SPHRi) and holds other certifications in Project Management (PRINCE2) and IT Service Management (ITIL).
Mrs. Agyeman-Barning has had an extensive career in HR, having pioneered the establishment of HR departments in Ghana at organizations including the International Water Management Institute and The Guaranty Trust Bank ( Ghana) Ltd. Following her relocation to Zambia, she worked as an HRM consultant with Trafigura Pte Ltd (a Swiss multinational commodity trading company).
In 2014, Louise Agyeman-Barning moved to Cote d’Ivoire where she offered her services as a Lecturer in Project Management and Strategic Human Resource Management at two Colleges namely: The Graduate School of Management and the Institut Britannique de Management et de Technologie (IBM-T) both in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
Louise is a full member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (IHRMP) and the Institute of Directors (IOD) where she currently serves as a Member on their HR and Administration Committee.
Nana Serwaa Acheampong joined SIC Life Company Limited in 2008 as the Company Secretary & Head of Legal until 2010 when she was made the Company’s Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs, a position she has held to date. Prior to joining the company she worked at SIC Insurance Company Limited as Deputy Company Secretary. Nana Serwaa is also the Company’s Compliance & Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Risk Manager.
She started her Legal career as an Associate Solicitor with Sam Okudzeto & Associates where she practiced as a litigation lawyer. Whilst at Okudzeto & Associates, she also worked for the Legal Aid Board for her National Service. She moved to England and worked as an Administrator and Solicitor for six years. She returned to Ghana and joined the Attorney-General’s Department as a State Attorney working in its Civil Division.
Nana Serwaa Acheampong holds an LLB. Law Degree from the University of Ghana. She is a graduate of the Ghana Law School. She was called to the Ghana Bar in 1999. She holds an Executive MBA (Entrepreneurial Management) from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon. She also holds an Applied Insurance Studies Diploma from the Ghana Insurance College, and an Associate in Risk Management from the Institutes, the Body for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) – USA and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting.
Nana Serwaa Acheampong is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA-Ghana) with over 18 years of legal practice experience. She is a Board Director of the Accra Markets Company Limited and the Dr. Robert Mitchell Memorial Foundation (A not for profit set up to combat childhood cancer).
Mr. Albert Bahun-Wilson joined SIC Life Insurance LTD in 2009. Prior to joining SIC Life, he worked at Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), where he rose to become Head of Subscription Sales. He has over eighteen (18) years wealth of experience in marketing.
He worked at Sainsbury’s in the United Kingdom as a customer service assistant and was an adjunct lecturer at Central University College.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (U.K), an Associate member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (Ghana) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, (U.K.) He has an Applied Insurance Studies Diploma from Malta International Training Centre and is also a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. He holds a Master of Business Administration (General Management) from the University of Hull, UK and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana.
He has attended many conferences and courses locally and internationally.
Mr. Prince Osei-Hyiamang is a Certified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of The Certified Chartered Accountants, United Kingdom (FCCA, UK). He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Accounting option) from the University of Ghana.
Mr. Osei-Hyiamang started his career with the then State Insurance Company Limited now SIC Insurance PLC in 2003 as an Accounts Officer and rose through the ranks to Senior Manager. He worked with SIC Insurance for 5 years before he was transferred to SIC Life Company Limited in 2008 and subsequently appointed Head of Accounts in 2013. He has over fifteen (15) years working experience in Corporate Finance and Accounts.
He is a Board Director of Accra Markets Company Limited. He has participated in a number of foreign and local courses.
Mr. Esenam A.K. Dzirasa joined the then State Insurance Company Limited (SIC) in 2003 as an Insurance Officer with the underwriting unit of the life department. In 2007, he joined SIC Life Insurance LTD when it was decoupled from SIC Insurance PLC and rose through the ranks to the position of Head, Corporate Planning & Research and currently the Head of Premium Administration.
He has over eighteen years (18) experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining SIC Life, he worked with the then Nationwide Health Insurance (Life) Unit of Vanguard Assurance Company Limited. Mr. Dzirasa also worked as an Assistant Statistician at the Social Statistics Department of the Ghana Statistical Service.
He is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), UK and the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (ACIIG).
He holds a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Financial Risk Management from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi - Ghana. He also holds a Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management from the West African Insurance Institute (WAII), The Gambia, a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Malta International Training Centre (Ghana Insurance College Affiliate), a Certificate in Budgeting and Financial Management from GIMPA and a Certificate in Development Finance from Corporate Support Group Limited.
He has attended several local and international courses and seminars. These included “Developing Strategic Skills for Organisational Improvement” (RIPA International, UK), “Comprehensive Life Assurance Programme” (National Insurance Academy, Pune – India) and “Integrated Financial Planning, Budgeting, Risk Management and Internal Controls” (Hackle Brooke Conference Centre, Johannesburg - South Africa)
He has also attended the one-year Bullet Proof Manager Training Series programme organized by Crestcom International and the three module Leadership Development Series by StratAfrique.
He has served and still serves on so many Committees of the Company including the Technical Committee.
Mrs. Esa Asiedu joined SIC Life Insurance LTD in 2010 as Company Secretary. Prior to joining this company she had worked with Accra Nominees Limited and UT Bank Limited. She has over fifteen (15) years experience in corporate governance affairs.
She is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and holds a Master of Science in Corporate Governance from London South Bank University in the United Kingdom. She has attended courses both locally and internationally.
Mr. Jacob Aikins-Tandoh joined SIC Life Insurance LTD in January 2012 with vast experience in the field of Finance, Accounting, Auditing and Financial fraud investigations.
Prior to his appointment into SIC Life, he worked in a management position as the Head of Internal Audit and later transferred to the Operations department to handle procurement and tax fraud investigations at the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO).
Mr. Aikins-Tandoh started his finance and accounting career with Pentecost Secondary/Commercial School at Kete Krachi in 1994 as a Bursar/Accounting Tutor and later moved to Opportunity Industrialization Centre Ghana (OIC-Ghana) as a Senior Finance Officer from 2000-2002. He later worked with EOCO as an Assistant Controller, Audit and rose through the ranks to Principal Controller, Audit. With dint of hard work, he was transferred to the Operations Department of EOCO to handle procurement and tax fraud Investigations, a position he held until he joined SIC Life Company Limited.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana and holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Methodist University College. He holds a certificate in Computerized Accounting Systems from GIMPA, Ghana and has participated in many courses / seminars and workshops locally and internationally.
Mr. Edmund Diamond Addo joined SIC Life Insurance LTD in June 2020 with varied experience in the field of Life Insurance, Pensions management and legal practice spanning over 20 years.
Prior to joining SIC Life, Mr. Addo worked with Kulendi@Law as an Associate Solicitor and Barrister.
Mr. Diamond Addo started his career with Donewell Insurance as an insurance underwriter and rose to the position of Deputy Life and Pensions Manager and later joined CDH Life Company Limited as the Head of Operations. As a result of the hard work and excellent performance exhibited while working with Donewell Insurance, Mr. Diamond Addo was invited to join Donewell Life Company as the General Manager, Operations when insurance Companies were by law required to decouple into General Insurance and Life Insurance companies in 2008 and rose to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Donewell Life.
Mr. Diamond Addo later decided to pursue the legal profession and was called to the Ghana Bar in October 2017, and prior to joining SIC Life Company Limited he practiced the legal profession with the very renowned law firm Kulendi@Law as an Associate Lawyer.
Mr. Diamond Addo holds a degree (LLB) from the GIMPA Law School and a professional law Course Certificate (BL) from the Ghana School of Law and also a Chartered Insurer (ACII, UK). Mr. Diamond Addo also has a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Social Protection Financing from the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc.) in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon. In addition, he holds a Diploma in Insurance & Risk Management from the West African Insurance Institute (WAII), The Gambia, and had participated in several courses, workshops, seminars and conferences both locally and internationally.
He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII, UK), the Chartered Insurance Institute, Ghana (CII, Ghana) and the Actuarial Society of Ghana (ASG).
Mr. Samuel C. Tindanbil joined SIC Life on 4th January 2021 as Head, Alternative Distribution. Prior to his appointment with SIC Life, he worked with Petra Securities Ltd as General Manager, Metropolitan Life Insurance, Health and Pensions as Head of Corporate and Alternative Distribution, Quality Insurance as Sales and Marketing Executive and Ark Insurance Brokers as Assistant Manager Operations. Mr. Tindanbil has over twenty years working experience, with an impressive repository of knowledge in Insurance practice.
Mr. Tindanbil is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (MCIMG) and a Member Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK (MCIM). He holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (CEMBA) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Accounting) from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds Diploma in Applied Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College/Malta Institute of Insurance and currently studying for his Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College. He also holds a certificate from the Ghana Securities Industry.
Mr. Tindanbil has attended many courses on leadership and management in Ghana.
Mr. Albert Asampong joined the then SIC Insurance Company Limited in 2005 as an Insurance Officer. In 2007, he joined SIC Life Company Limited when it was decoupled from SIC Insurance Company Limited and rose through the ranks to the position of Head, Sika Plan. Prior to joining SIC Insurance Company Limited, he worked as a Senior Marketing officer at Afram Publications. He has over twenty years working experience.
He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (U.K). He also holds Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (U.K). He has attended many conferences and courses locally and internationally.
Ms. Nancy Adusei joined SIC Life Insurance LTD in April 2018 as the Head, Policy Administration. She is a Chartered Insurer, an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) UK and the Chartered Insurance Institute Ghana and also a member of Chartered Insurance Ladies’ Association of Ghana. She holds a Masters degree in Project Management from the University of Ghana Business School. She graduated from the Institute of Professional Studies, Legon with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration (Management Option). She holds Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Malta International Training Center (Ghana Insurance College Affiliate). She has over seventeen years’ experience in the insurance industry.
Before her appointment into SIC Life, she worked with the Internal Revenue Service in 2003, CDH Insurance Company Limited in 2004 when it was a composite company, CDH Life Insurance in 2007 and UT Life Insurance Company Limited in 2011. She rose to become the Head of Policy Administration, a position she held until joining SIC Life.
She attained remarkable achievements in her role as Head, Policy Administration, some of which are single digit claims aging across the country, electronic claims payment platform, complaint log system which enables customers to log complaints and other incredible customer service activities.
She has undergone extensive managerial and leadership training organised by StratAfrique Ghana and also participated in many courses and conferences locally and internationally.
Ms. Adusei loves cooking and sightseeing as her hobbies.
He’s a certified lay practitioner/counselor and a member of the Ghana Psychological Council.
Ms. Ama A. Akude joined SIC Life Insurance LTD in April 2018 with a varied experience as Head, Retail Underwriting. Prior to her appointment with SIC Life, she worked with CDH Life Insurance Company Limited as an Underwriter and as an Actuarial Officer. She rose through the ranks to the Head-Underwriting in 2015 at UT Life Insurance Company Limited, when it acquired CDH Life Insurance Company Limited. She has over 12 years working experience in the Life Insurance Industry.
She is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute UK and holds a Diploma Certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute UK, a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Applied Insurance Studies, jointly awarded by the Ghana Insurance College and Malta Institute of insurance. She also holds Master of Business Administration in Finance from Coventry University UK, Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Coast and a Certificate in Securities and Investment from the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE).
Ms. Akude has attended a number of courses locally and internationally.
Emmanuel Gyaben Cudjoe is a Chartered Procurement Professional with over ten years’ experience in Procurement and Supply. His procurement experience spans across Manufacturing, Service and Information Technology (IT) industries.
Prior to joining SIC Life Insurance LTD, Emmanuel worked with Ghana Community Network Services Limited (GCNet) and GTI Holding as Procurement Coordinator and Procurement Manager respectively, where he led the establishment of the Procurement Units in those two organizations. He is excellent at negotiations and managing supplier relationships.
Emmanuel is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK and holds a master’s degree in Business Process and Supply Chain Management from Linnaeus University, Sweden. He is an alumnus of the University of Ghana and a product of Mfantsipim School.
