SIC Life Company Limited has been presented with a plaque in recognition of its contribution to the Ghana Teacher Prize 2020 as a Platinum sponsor. The brief ceremony held in Accra was organized by the National Teaching Council under the auspices of the Ministry of Education.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, SIC Life since 2010 has been a major sponsor of the Ghana Teacher Prize formerly known as the Best Teacher Award.
SIC Life as a platinum sponsor for the 2020 edition, sponsored with a three-bedroom apartment, a total of One million Ghana cedis (GH₵1,000,000.00) life insurance cover to the top three (3) winners and branded souvenirs.
In presenting the plaque, the newly appointed Education Minister; Dr. Yaw Adutwum expressed his sincerest gratitude to the Company for supporting the award scheme for a decade despite the economic crisis the world is facing during this COVID-19 pandemic.

On his part, the Registrar of the National Teaching Council; Dr. Christian Addai-Poku stated that the brief ceremony was held to fraternize with sponsors of the awards scheme and to appreciate their contribution to the celebration of the Ghanaian Teacher.
The plaque was received by the Deputy Managing Director of SIC Life; Mr. Kwaku Appiah-Menka. Also representing the Company were Mr. Albert Bahun-Wilson, Head, Corporate Services and Miss Pamela Boateng.
