‘Your True Friend for Life’ SIC Life has scaled up its Social Investment commitments by partnering with the Rotary District 9102 for its 2020/2021 activities. This partnership forms part of SIC Life’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and is aimed at supporting Rotary District 9102  in its social causes which include combating hunger, improving health and sanitation, providing education and job training, promoting peace amongst others.

In a brief meeting with the immediate Past District Governor on Thursday 8th July 2021, Head of Corporate Services at SIC Life, Mr. Albert Bahun-Wilson expressed Management’s commitment not only to selling life insurance products but also providing the needed support for society and the country at large.

On her part, the Past District Governor (PDG) for Rotary District 9102, Yvonne Kumoji-Darko expressed her utmost gratitude to the Company for making such a big commitment towards the Club’s annual activities. According to her, it is Companies like SIC Life who make them who they are and make their yearly activities successful.

In expressing the Club’s appreciation, PDG Yvonne Kumoji-Darko also presented a plaque to SIC Life.

Also present at the meeting were Mrs. Jennifer Asare, Miss Pamela Boateng from the Corporate Services Dept. of SIC Life, Afua Ababio, Isaac Aninakwa both Rotarians from Rotary District 9102.

Ghana is one of the four countries in Rotary International District 9102, the other three are Benin, Niger and Togo. The District has over 100 clubs and more than 2,550 Rotarians.

SIC Life’s contribution to society has been commendable by being a major sponsor of the Ghana Teacher Prize since 2011 and offered constant assistance to security agencies, communities, sports, health, youth development et al.
