Insurance Council of Zimbabwe (ICZ) Commends SIC Life MD for Being a ‘Real Trailblazer in the African Insurance Industry!’

 

The Insurance Council of Zimbabwe has extolled the Managing Director of SIC Life Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Wyns-Dogbe for her inestimable contributions not only to the Ghanaian Insurance industry but to the African continent at large.

In a post sighted on the council’s official Facebook page, the ICZ noted that, ‘Rev Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Wyns-Dogbe has vast experience in Leadership and Corporate Governance with an Insurance and Risk Management work portfolio that encompasses stretches above 18 years. She gave an informative Keynote address in our last ICZ/AIRDC workshop, highlighting the importance of blockchain technology and new ways to gain market share. She is the Vice President of the Association of Insurers and Reinsurers of Developing Countries and Managing Director of SICLife Insurance Company Limited. Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Wyns-Dogbe is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK. She holds MBA in Finance from the Central University College, BSc in Engineering from KNUST and a certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (UK). Before her appointment at SIC Life, she was the General Manager, Operations at UT Life Insurance Company Limited. She is also a Fellow of the Boardroom Institute and a Senior Fellow of The African Good Governance Initiative.’

The post continued by saying ‘she has also participated in the Bullet Proof Managers Training Series by Crestcom International. Elizabeth lives and breathes strategy. She is passionate about growth and innovation, especially with new technologies available to the finance industry. She's our woman crush for the week!
